Speaking Up for Cultural Representation

Representation matters—especially when young Filipinos look to the media for role models. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being invited to speak publicly on several platforms, including national television interviews. Each opportunity allowed me to highlight the importance of cultural identity and Filipino presence in mainstream media. Every time I speak, I remember that my voice is not just my own—it carries the hopes and stories of our community.
